Philippine Airlines Baggage Allowance for Local and International Flights

Philippine Airlines Baggage Allowance: When traveling, it is important to be aware of PAL baggage allowance and fees in order to avoid any surprises when you arrive at the airport. Philippine Airlines has a generous baggage allowance, with most passengers being allowed to check-in two pieces of luggage for free.

However, there are some exceptions, so be sure to read the Philippine Airlines baggage policy carefully before your flight. In addition to the baggage allowance, Philippine Airlines also charges fees for excess baggage and for items that exceed the weight or size restrictions. So be sure to familiarize yourself with these fees before you travel, so you can avoid any unexpected charges.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) introduces a new type of Fare Family dubbed “Branded Fares,” with each fare family/brand having its own FREE PAL BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE (FBA). Travelers may now pick the ticket that includes all the advantages they require.

Please familiarize yourself with PAL Baggage regulations if you are traveling solely on Philippine Airlines (PR) for the duration of your journey.

The Free Baggage Allowance (FBA) entitles you to a free bag for the whole journey specified on your ticket, which may or may not apply to connecting flights. Domestic Free Baggage Allowance (FBA) applies only to domestic tickets purchased separately from an international ticket.

If the connecting flights have a lower Free Baggage Allowance (FBA), Philippine Airlines (PAL) or other airlines may charge an Excess Baggage Charge (EBC).

Unless otherwise provided in the e-ticket, the following PAL Free Baggage Allowance (FBA) and Excess Baggage Charge (EBC) shall apply on Philippine Airlines (PAL) and PAL Express (PALex) operated flights:
