Philippine Airlines Operates South Korea Flights Under New Guidelines
Philippine Airlines on Thursday said flights to and from South Korea began operating under new flight guidelines to aid in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus. All travelers, irrespective of nationality, who’ve been to North Gyeongsang in Daegu, are prohibited from entering the nation, the flag carrier stated. Filipinos traveling to Korea as tourists have been covered under the travel ban while OFWs or are permanent inhabitants are exempted provided that they show evidence of identification, the airline said. The travel ban applies to passengers who’ve been in North Gyeongsang Province, including Daegu City, PAL explained.
