Indonesia Travel Requirements per Philippine Airlines Advisory

Allowed Travelers

  • Indonesian Citizens (WNI)
  • Non-Indonesian or Foreign citizens holding legal and valid Visa and Stay Permit which consist of: Official visa, Diplomatic visa, Visit visa, Temporary Stay Visa (Visit Visa and Temporary Stay Visa, can be issued in an electronic form, likewise e-Visa) E-Visa Number last digit finished with LN, Official Residence Permit, Diplomatic Residence Permit, Temporary Stay Permit, Permanent Stay Permit, and Tourist Visa (b2211A).
  • Travelers who have obtained a special written consideration/permission from an Indonesian Ministry/Institution

General Requirements

MEDICAL DOCUMENTS

  • Recognized Proof of Vaccination
  • Negative COVID-19 RT-PCR Test Result from DOH-accredited laboratories, valid within 72 hours before departure

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Quarantine Requirements

  • All travelers shall undergo RT-PCR testing upon arrival.
  • Travelers who are NOT fully vaccinated shall undergo quarantine for 5 days (those who have received just the first dose vaccine at least 14 days before departure).
  • Full vaccinated travelers shall undergo quarantine 3 for 3 days (those who have received the full dose vaccine at least 14 days before departure).

As per Government regulations, guests bound for Jakarta are required to present the following travel documents upon check-in:

For Indonesian Nationals:

  • Negative RT-PCR test result, valid for seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled time of departure.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate. Note that unvaccinated or partially vaccinated Indonesians will not be accepted for the flight. The Vaccination Certificate must reflect two (2) doses of Pfizer, Moderna, Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Johnson and Johnson and must be written in English.
  • Quarantine Hotel Booking for a mandatory 10-day quarantine
  • Health Insurance Policy with a minimum coverage of USD 100,000 for COVID-19 treatment and/or hospitalization

For Foreigners:

  • Negative RT-PCR test result, valid for seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled time of departure.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate. Note that unvaccinated or partially vaccinated foreigners will not be accepted for the flight. The Vaccination Certificate must reflect two (2) doses of Pfizer, Moderna, Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Johnson and Johnson and must be written in English.

  • Allowed visa
  • Passport valid for at least six (6) months

Types of Visas / Stay Permits allowed to enter Indonesia:

  • Diplomatic and Official Visa Holders
  • Diplomatic and Official Stay Permit
  • Holders of Indonesian Temporary Residence Card (KITAS) and Indonesian Permanent Residence Card (KITAP)
  • Visitor Visas – B211A, B211B, Limited Stay Visa, C312 (Work Visa), C31232, C314, C315, C317
  • Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Travel Card (KPP APEC)

Traditional border crossers can also enter the Indonesian territory. Note that Visa On Arrival (VOA) is still suspended until further notice.

Guests coming from or transiting from any of the following territories are not allowed to enter Indonesia:

  1. South Africa
  2. Botswana
  3. Norway
  4. Denmark
  5. United Kingdom
  6. Angola
  7. Zamibia
  8. Zimbabwe
  9. Malawi
  10. Mozambique
  11. Namibia
  12. Eswatini
  13. Leshoto
