Cebu Pacific Resumes Flights from Cebu and Davao Hubs

Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ largest airline, has accelerated its domestic route network expansion by resuming more direct local flights from Cebu and Davao.

This is in keeping with the airline’s commitment to ensure that everyone has access to affordable and accessible flights on its broad domestic network. As Cebu Pacific restores all of its pre-pandemic capacity this summer, it will provide additional flights for Visayas-Mindanao passengers to visit more local places without transit through Manila.

This month, the airline resumes direct flights to four (4) new destinations from Cebu – Calbayog, Surigao, Puerto Princesa, and Legazpi. CEB now offers 21 domestic flight connections.

Moreover, flights to CEB’s 18 other direct flights from Cebu have also increased to service more Cebuanos safely – namely to Manila, Davao, Iloilo, Zamboanga, Coron, Boracay, Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod, Clark, General Santos, Siargao, Tacloban, Dumaguete, Pagadian, Butuan, Ozamis, Camiguin, and Dipolog.

Furthermore, CEB has added more direct flights to serve more Cebuanos. Manila, Davao, Iloilo, Zamboanga, Coron, Boracay, Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod, Clark, General Santos, Siargao, Tacloban, Dumaguete, Pagadian, Butuan, Ozamis, Camiguin and Dipolog have all obtained new direct options.

In addition, the airline has reinstituted four (4) new direct flights from Davao. Flights to Bohol, Iloilo, and Zamboanga have resumed this month, while the Davao-Cagayan de Oro route will resume in May. These extra connections raise the hub’s total routes to six (6), including its daily service between Manila and Davao, which flies up to eight times a day, and its daily service between Cebu and Davao, which flies up to three times a day.

Cebuanos and Dabawenyos, alike, should benefit from the expansion of routes and frequencies, according to Lao. “We are certain that this increase in route and frequency options will allow Cebuanos and Dabawenyos to fly to their favorite destinations in the country – whether family or friends or much-needed holidays throughout the summer season.”

Cebu Pacific remains committed to offering low fares and affordable travel throughout the Philippines, with a network of 33 airports. It maintains a multi-layered safety strategy while employing a fully vaccinated crew of 90% who have been boosted to guarantee that every Juan flies safely and conveniently on Cebu Pacific.

Cebu Pacific local and domestic (airline code 5J) flights depart and arrive using Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 (NAIA 3). However, its sister airline, Cebgo (airline code, DG) departures and arrivals have been moved to the Terminal 4 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA 4) beginning March 28, 2022.

The transfer of Cebgo’s operations to NAIA Terminal 4 is in line with Cebu Pacific’s strategy to consolidate its flight operations in one terminal. This will provide passengers with a better and more seamless travel experience.
