“We wholeheartedly support the Department of Tourism’s efforts to revitalize tourism. We also want to commend the DOT on hosting this year’s World Travel and Tourism Council Global Summit, our first major face-to-face event that signals a resurgence of international travel. We hope everyone will join us onboard, whether from the Philippines or elsewhere,” said Xander Lao, CEB chief commercial officer, at a press conference during the WTTC Global Summit.

Filipinos and international visitors may easily explore the country through CEB’s domestic destinations. The airline has also resumed more direct local flights from major hubs Cebu and Davao, as it restores 100 percent of its pre-pandemic domestic capacity this month.

“We are delighted to keep enabling everyJuan to travel across our large Philippine network safely. We hope to be able to contribute to the economic and tourism agenda in and out of the Philippines,” Lao added.

Travelers who have been vaccinated may just fly easy by presenting their immunization documentation and a negative PCR swab or laboratory-based antigen test result. Passengers may check the CEB Travel Reminders website for the most up-to-date information and comprehensive travel instructions to their destination.

Cebu Pacific continues to provide its guaranteed low fares, which it uses to drive tourism across its largest domestic network in the Philippines. It maintains a multi-layered approach to safety while employing a 100 percent fully vaccinated crew that has been boosted by 90 percent to ensure that every Juan flies safely and conveniently on Cebu Pacific.
