Philippine Airlines Flights Manila to Zamboanga increased from daily to 11 times weekly!

Zamboanga is one of the most frequently visited tourist destinations in the Philippines. Zamboanga’s thriving maritime industry and rich cultural history make it a top destination for visitors traveling to this part of Asia. Philippines Airlines has announced that they will be adding flights to Zamboanga to their flight stop list, beginning on February 15, 2022.

With more Zamboanga flights coming up, Zamboangans can expect an increase in tourism and trade throughout the city. Zamboanga City is the second-largest city in Mindanao. Zamboanga has a rich history dating back to pre-colonial times, due to its strategic location along the Zamboanga peninsula.

The airline is delighted to announce that it will be increasing the frequency of the Philippine Airlines Flights Manila to Zamboanga from daily to nine times weekly on February 15, 2022, and eleven times weekly on March 1, 2022.

From February 15, 2022, passengers can travel on the following routes, with new flights every Tuesday and Thursday:

PR 2993 Manila to Zamboanga: every Monday and Friday departing 05:20 AM
PR 2979 Manila to Zamboanga: every Tuesday and Thursday departing at 05:20 AM
PR 2997 Manila to Zamboanga: every Wednesday and Saturday departing at 10:20 AM
PR 2997 Manila to Zamboanga: every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday departing at 01:25 PM
PR 2980 Zamboanga to Manila: every Tuesday and Thursday departing at 07:45 AM
PR 2994 Zamboanga to Manila: every Monday and Friday departing at 12:45 PM
PR 2998 Zamboanga to Manila: every Wednesday and Saturday departing at 12:45 PM
PR 2998 Zamboanga to Manila: every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday departing at 03:55 PM

Beginning March 1, 2022, additional flights will be available every Wednesday and Sunday, with the following itinerary:

The following are required of passengers who will be traveling to Zamboanga: They must present the following when checking in for their flight:

Vaccination card for or fully-vaccinated passengers
Valid ID, government-issued preferred
Negative RT-PCR test results valid within 120 hours (5 days) prior to the scheduled date of departure; or
Negative antigen test results from any DOH-accredited laboratory valid within 24 hours prior to the scheduled date of departure.
