General Santos Travel Requirements Updates
General Santos City has since lifted the mandatory quarantine requirement for fully vaccinated travelers and returning residents several months back.
The decision was based on Executive Order (EO) No. 51 issued by Mayor Ronnel Rivera. The order eases the remaining restrictions and control measures in the city in light of the declining new Covid-19 infections.
Under the new guidelines, fully vaccinated travelers and returning residents will no longer be required to undergo mandatory quarantine. They will only be required to present proof of vaccination upon arrival at the city’s airport or seaport. Travelers and residents who are not fully vaccinated will still be required to undergo mandatory quarantine for a period of 14 days.
