Travel Permission and Community Alert Level

Zamboanga COVID-19 Health and Travel Requirements as of January 10, 2022

Fully Vaccinated (from areas under or on Alert Level 2)  

Fully Vaccinated (from areas on Alert 3 or higher) 

  • Negative antigen test results from any DOH-accredited laboratory. 24 hours from the date of specimen collection, or; 
  • Negative RT-PCR test result within 120 hours (5 days) from the date of specimen collection 
  • Vaccination Card & SPASS permit 
  • Valid ID 

 Unvaccinated

  • Negative RT-PCR test from any DOH-accredited laboratories 120 hours (5 days) from the date of specimen collection  
  • Valid ID   
  • S-PASS permit
  • Children 3 years old and above are required to undergo RT-PCR test (saliva-RT-PCR or nasopharyngeal) from any DOH-accredited laboratories, within 5 days of their travel date.
  • Children are required to apply for S-Pass permit and should be done at least 2 days  prior to travel date.

COVID Zamboanga Travel Requirements per Cebu Pacific Advisory

The City of Zamboanga requires arriving guests to present the following documents, to be accepted for flight:

For fully vaccinated guests from areas under a higher alert level status

  • Vaccination Card – Travel date should be at least fourteen (14) days from the last require dose.
  • Approved S-PaSS Registration for Zamboanga City. Application for S-Pass must be done two (2) days prior to travel date. Note that S-Pass must specifically state “Zamboanga City”.
  • Valid ID
  • Negative RT-PCR (swab / saliva) or Rapid Antigen test result, conducted by DOH-accredited facilities. Saliva RT-PCR must be conducted by Philippine Red Cross or PADLab only. Please take note of the test validity:
    • RT-PCR – valid for 120 hours from date of test
    • Antigen – valid for 24 hours from date of test

For fully vaccinated guests from areas under the same or lower alert level

  • Vaccination Card – Travel date should be at least fourteen (14) days from the last required dose.
  • Approved S-Pass (https://s-pass.ph/) Registration for Zamboanga City – Application for S-Pass must be done two (2) days prior to travel date. Note that S-Pass must specifically state “Zamboanga City”.
  • Valid ID

An individual is considered to be fully vaccinated if it has been at least fourteen (14) days after the last required dose.

For unvaccinated / partially vaccinated guest

  • Negative RT-PCR (swab / saliva) test result, conducted by DOH-accredited facilities. Saliva RT-PCR must be conducted by Philippine Red Cross or PADLab only. RT-PCR test shall remain valid for 120 hours from date of test.
  • Approved S-PaSS Registration for Zamboanga City. Application for S-Pass must be done two (2) days prior to travel date. Note that S-Pass must specifically state “Zamboanga City”.

Guidelines for guests traveling with children

  • Children who are three (3) years old and above – Negative RT-PCR test is required. This shall remain valid within five (5) days of travel.
  • Infants below three (3) years old may travel without a negative RT-PCR, provided that they are accompanied by fully vaccinated parents or guardians.
  • Approved S-PaSS is required for children.

Returning Residents/ Returning Overseas Filipinos / Returning Overseas Filipino Workers/Authorized Persons Outside of Residence

For Fully Vaccinated Individuals:
  1. Authentic Vaccine Card
  2. Apply S-Pass: https://S-Pass.ph/ and submit all requirements 48 hours before travel date
  3. Government-issued ID

*Passengers coming from areas Alert Level 4 and above are required to present Authentic Negative Antigen FDA-approved Rapid Antigen (Nasal/Swab) test result within 48 hours from time of swabbing before departure

For Unvaccinated/Not Yet Fully Vaccinated Individuals:
  1. Authenticated Negative RT-PCR test result within 120 hours (5 days) before travel date
  2. Secure Travel Coordination Pass with ZCDRRMO
  3. Apply S-Pass: https://S-Pass.ph/ and submit all requirements 48 hours before travel date

Tourists (Fully Vaccinated Only)

  1. Vaccine Card showing fully vaccinated status
  2. Travel Itinerary
  3. Confirmed hotel booking from a DOT-accredited establishment
  4. Round trip ticket
  5. S-Pass: https://S-Pass.ph/

Tourists/ Returning Residents/ Returning Overseas Filipinos / Returning Overseas Filipino Workers/Authorized Persons Outside of Residence

For Fully Vaccinated Individuals coming from areas with higher alert level status

  2. Negative RT-PCR test result within 120 hours (5 days) before travel date OR Negative Rapid Antigen Test from DOH-accredited facility 24 hours before departure

For Fully Vaccinated Individuals coming from areas with the same or lower alert level status
  1. Vaccination Card / Vax Cert
