Camiguin Travel Requirements for Arriving Local Passengers: This is the updated advisory for local or domestic passengers arriving at Camiguin Airport. If you’re looking for more information about COVID travel requirements in going to the island province of Camiguin, we’ve got you covered!

For inbound passengers (returning residents and authorized persons outside of residents) traveling to Camiguin, a valid ID and a vaccination card are required to show that you are fully vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated, you must provide a negative RT-PCR test result taken within 24 hours. Additionally, those returning to Camiguin after residing in another country for more than one (1) year must also provide a certification from their barangay and an acceptance from the municipal government. Lastly, all tourists must have a travel order issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Tourists are only allowed to enter the province if they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. They must also have a valid ID and a confirmed reservation with an accommodation establishment in Camiguin. If they will be staying in a private home, they must secure a clearance from the Municipal Government of the Municipality where they will be staying. They must also have a negative RT-PCR Test Result from any DOH-accredited laboratories taken within seventy-two (72) hours (for tourists traveling from NCR and Luzon) or forty-eight (48) hours (for tourists traveling from Visayas and Mindanao). Finally, they must prove that they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Camiguin Travel Requirements for Fully Vaccinated Individuals– Valid ID

Camiguin Travel Requirements for Unvaccinated and Partially Vaccinated Individuals – Valid ID
– Negative RT-PCR Test Result taken within twenty-four (24) hours
— In the event the result of such test cannot be released within twenty-four (24) hours from the time it was taken, Inbound Passenger who commence their travel to the Province within twelve (12) hours from the time their test was taken shall, upon their return to the Province, undergo quarantine at a place determined by the appropriate local health authority until their negative test result is released
— Inbound Passenger may opt not to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test and instead undergo facility-based quarantine for fourteen (14) days upon their return

TOURISTS

Only full-vaccinated tourists shall be permitted to enter the province.

  • Valid ID
  • All tourists, regardless of age, must have a Clean Camiguin quick response (QR) code
  • Confirmed reservation with an accommodation establishment in the Province
  • Tourists who will stay in a private home must secure a clearance from the Municipal Government of the Municipality where they will be staying 
  • Negative RT-PCR Test Result from any DOH-accredited laboratories taken within seventy-two (72) hours (for tourist travelling from NCR and Luzon)
  • Negative RT-PCR Test Result from any DOH-accredited laboratories  taken within forty-eight (48) hours (for tourists traveling from Visayas and Mindanao)
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
    • Fully-vaccinated tourists may bring their unvaccinated minor children below twelve (12) years of age. Accompanying minor children who are twelve (12) to seventeen (17) years old must have at least received their first COVID-19 vaccine dose. Accompanying adult children must be fully-vaccinated

Camiguin Travel Requirements for For Tourists

  • Registration and Health Declaration via CleanCamiguin. Prepare to upload the following documents and save a printed / digital copy of the QR code upon completion.
    • Proof of complete COVID-19 Vaccination
    • Proof of confirmed booking from an LGU-accredited establishment or clearance from a Municipal Health Officer if staying in a private home
  • Confirmed reservation with an accommodation establishment in the province. For guests staying in a private home, LGU clearance is required. Ask your host to process the clearance.
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. It should be at least fourteen (14) days after receiving your final required dose. Only fully vaccinated tourists are allowed to enter Camiguin.

Camiguin Travel Requirements for For Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR)

  • Registration and Health Declaration via CleanCamiguin. Prepare to upload the following documents and save a printed / digital copy of the QR code upon completion.
    • Proof of complete COVID-19 Vaccination
    • Company ID / Certificate of Employment
  • Company ID / Certificate of Employment
  • Original Copy of Travel Order
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. It should be at least fourteen (14) days after receiving your final dose. Only fully vaccinated APORs are allowed to enter Camiguin.

Camiguin Travel Requirements for For Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI) / Returning Residents

  • Registration and Health Declaration via CleanCamiguin. Prepare to upload the following documents and save a printed / digital copy of the QR code upon completion.
    • Proof of complete COVID-19 Vaccination
    • Negative RT-PCR test result
    • Valid ID with residence address within the Province of Camiguin
  • Acceptance Letter from the LGU of destination / Travel Entry or Exit Pass Card from the municipality
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. It should be at least fourteen (14) days after receiving your final required dose. Only fully vaccinated LSIs/Returning Residents are allowed to enter Camiguin.
