Boracay Travel Requirements Update January 5, 2022:

Boracay and Aklan Province now Requires Negative RT-PCR Test for All Visitors

To our valued passengers, beginning January 9, 2022, as required by Aklan local government Executive Order No. 001 Series of 2022:

  • For all travelers heading to Boracay or other areas in Aklan Province, regardless of vaccination status, a negative RT-PCR test result done within 72 hours before departure is now required to be allowed in the island.
  • All travelers who wish to visit Boracay must arrive at Caticlan Airport.
  • Landing at Kalibo Airport will no longer be an option for visitors going to Boracay.

INBOUND PASSENGERS

All tourists and travelers shall secure a “Quick Response” (QR) Code via the Online Health Declaration Card (OHDC) that can be accessed at https://www.touristboracy.com/ or https://aklan.gov.ph

RETURNING AKLANONS

  • Negative RT-PCR Result Certificate taken from any DOH-accredited laboratories within 72 hours to date of travel
  • Notice of Coordination/Acceptance from municipality of destination issued by the Office of the Mayor

  • Philippine government-issued ID with Aklan address
  • Proof of Identification with Aklan address
  • Travel Details
  • For below 12 years old (accomplish the certificate of undertaking travelling w/minors template at https://aklan.gov.ph/

Fully Vaccinated Individuals (any of the following)

  • VaxCertPH Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate w/ full vaccination status

  • Travel Details (only Kalibo International Airport can be used by those travelling via air)

TOURISTS

  • Negative RT-PCR Result Certificate from any DOH-accredited laboratories within 72 hours to date of travel 
  • Proof of Identification with Philippine Residency/ Passport for foreigners/OFWs/OFs
  • A copy of confirmed booking slip/form from a DOT – Accredited Boracay Island accommodation/establishment
  • Round Trip flight/travel details (only Caticlan Airport can be used by those travelling via air)

For guests flying to Kalibo, please accomplish these travel requirements:

Please UPDATE your residence address through the Manage Booking section in the website, by 23:59H (PHT), two days before departure, to ensure you can take your flight.

Kalibo International Airport will accept Returning Residents / Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI), Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR), and Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROF). Tourists must enter Aklan via Caticlan.

All arriving APOR, Returning Residents / LSI, and ROF must present the Aklan Online Health Declaration Card (OHDC) with QR Code upon check-in. Note that the passenger classification for the OHDC must be accurate.

To secure the OHCD, all guests bound for Kalibo must email the following documents to aklantraveller@gmail.com and aklantraveller@aklan.gov.ph with subject “OHDC-Last Name, First Name”, at least twelve (12) hours before intended travel to Aklan

For non-Akalanons: Passenger Classification – “Traveler”.
