Siargao COVID-19 Health and Travel Requirements

Notes:

  • For Tourist/Private APOR, Post Antigen Testing is required after 5 days from the date of arrival.
  • Passengers that are passing through Siargao coming from the Province of Dinagat Islands are exempted from presentation of negative result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test from DOH-accredited laboratories.

Surigao Del Norte Resident

  • Valid ID
  • S-PASS
  • Vaccination Card / Vaccination Certificate for fully vaccinated travelers; or
  • Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test result from any DOH-accredited laboratories released within 48 hours prior to arrival in the province for unvaccinated and partially vaccinated travelers
  • 17 years old and below are exempted from Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test

APOR (Authorized Persons Outside of Residence)

GOVERNMENT APOR
  • Vaccination Card / Vaccination Certificate for fully vaccinated travelers; or
  • Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test result from any DOH-accredited laboratories released within 48 hours prior to arrival in the province for unvaccinated and partially vaccinated travelers
  • Valid ID
  • Travel/Mission Order
  • S-PASS
Non-Resident Private APOR
  • Vaccination Card / Vaccination Certificate for fully vaccinated travelers; or
  • Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test result from any DOH-accredited laboratories released within 48 hours prior to arrival in the province for unvaccinated and partially vaccinated travelers
  • Valid ID
  • Confirmed booking of not less than 2 nights from any DOT-accredited accommodations.
  • Passengers with proof/s that they are traveling for the purpose of delivering essential goods and services are exempted. 
  • S-PASS

TOURIST

INVITED BY LOCAL RESIDENT OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE
  • Vaccination Card / Vaccination Certificate for fully vaccinated travelers; or
  • Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test result from any DOH-accredited laboratories released within 48 hours prior to arrival in the province for unvaccinated and partially vaccinated travelers
  • 17 years old and below are exempted from Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test 
  • Valid ID
  • Travel Certification issued by the Mayor of the City/Municipality of destination, stating that you are tourist invited by a local
  • S-PASS
NOT INVITED BY LOCAL RESIDENTS OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE / WALK-IN TOURISTS
  • Vaccination Card / Vaccination Certificate for fully vaccinated travelers; or
  • Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test result from any DOH-accredited laboratories released within 48 hours prior to arrival in the province for unvaccinated and partially vaccinated travelers 
  • 17 years old and below are exempted from Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test
  • Valid ID
  • Confirmed booking of not less than 2 nights from any DOT-accredited accommodations

Open for tourists / Fly easy with your vaccination card

For guests flying to Siargao, please secure a Travel Coordination Permit (TCP) from S-PaSS and be ready to upload the following documents and present them upon check-in:

For Tourists invited by a local resident of Surigao del Norte

  • Negative COVID-19 Saliva test result (from Philippine Red Cross or PADLab only) or negative RT-PCR (swab) test result, valid within forty-eight (48) hours from the date of release of result. Fully vaccinated individuals may present their COVID-19 Domestic Vaccination Card duly issued by legitimate vaccinating establishments in lieu of the RT-PCR test.
  • Valid ID
  • Travel Certification issued by the Mayor of the City/Municipality of destination (within the Province of Surigao del Norte)

For Tourists NOT invited by a local resident of Surigao del Norte (walk-in tourist)

  • Negative COVID-19 Saliva test result (from Philippine Red Cross or PADLab only) or negative RT-PCR (swab) test result, valid within forty-eight (48) hours from the date of release of result. Fully vaccinated individuals may present their COVID-19 Domestic Vaccination Card duly issued by legitimate vaccinating establishments in lieu of the RT-PCR test.
  • Valid ID
  • Confirmed booking for at least two (2) nights from a DOT-accredited accommodation

For residents of Surigao del Norte

  • Negative COVID-19 Saliva test result (from Philippine Red Cross or PADLab only) or negative RT-PCR (swab) test result, valid within forty-eight (48) hours from the date of release of result (children aged 17 years old and below are exempted). Fully vaccinated individuals may present their COVID-19 Domestic Vaccination Card duly issued by legitimate vaccinating establishments in lieu of the RT-PCR test.
  • Valid ID or any proof of residency in Surigao del Norte

For Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR)

  • Negative COVID-19 Saliva test result (from Philippine Red Cross or PADLab only) or negative RT-PCR (swab) test result, valid within forty-eight (48) hours from the date of release of result. Fully vaccinated individuals may present their COVID-19 Domestic Vaccination Card duly issued by legitimate vaccinating establishments in lieu of the RT-PCR test.
  • Valid ID or any proof of residency in Surigao del Norte
  • Travel Order / Mission Order
  • Doctor’s Referral / Medical Certificate for those traveling for medical / humanitarian reasons

Children who are seventeen (17) years old and below are exempted from presenting a negative RT-PCR test result and S-PaSS. An individual is considered fully vaccinated if it has been at least two (2) weeks since the last required dose.
