Kalibo Travel Requirements for Arriving Local Passengers: This is the updated advisory for local or domestic passengers arriving at Kalibo International Airport (KLO). If you’re looking for more information about COVID travel requirements in going to the Municipality of Kalibo and the Province of Aklan, we’ve got you covered!
Kalibo Travel Requirements for Tourists
When traveling to Kalibo, all tourists must secure an OHDC (Off-Site Health and Sanitation Clearance) confirmation. This is to ensure that the traveler is free from any communicable diseases that may affect public health. In addition, travelers are required to present proof of identification with Philippine residency or passport for foreigners, as well as a copy of their confirmed booking slip/form from a DOT-accredited Boracay Island accommodation/establishment. Round-trip flight/travel details must also be provided, along with proof of vaccination status (fully vaccinated individuals only).

For guests flying to Kalibo, please accomplish these travel requirements:
Please UPDATE your residence address through the Manage Booking section in the website, by 23:59H (PHT), two days before departure, to ensure you can take your flight.
Please present the following travel requirements upon check-in to be accepted for flight:
Kalibo Travel Requirements for Tourists:
- Please fill up the Online Health Declaration Card (OHDC) at least 24 hours before the flight via https://touristboracay.com and register as “Tourist”. Save a printed/digital copy of the QR code.This is required, even for infants.
- Proof of full vaccination. Please submit any of the following documents:
- VaxCertPH Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Locally-issued Vaccination card/ID with verifiable QR code or contact details of the vaccination center
- World Health Organization International Certificates of Vaccination and Prophylaxis
- Vaccination Card or Vaccination Certificate issued Abroad
- Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated tourists may submit a Negative RT-PCR (swab / saliva) test result, conducted within 72 hours before travel. Test must be done by a DOH-accredited testing center.
- Confirmed hotel booking or reservation from any DOT-accredited accommodation establishments in Boracay
- Proof of Identity with Philippine residency or passport for foreigners / OFWs
- Roundtrip Flight / Travel Details
Guests traveling with minors below twelve (12) years old must accomplish the Certificate of Undertaking Traveling with Minors. The template can be downloaded here.
There are no requirements for Returning Aklanons and other travelers. Only tourists are required to present travel requirements as listed above.
