Know the current Zamboanga Travel Requirements for arriving local passengers and tourists: This is the updated advisory for local or domestic passengers arriving at Zamboanga International Airport (ZAM). If you’re looking for more information about Zamboanga travel requirements, we’ve got you covered!
If you are a fully vaccinated traveler, you will need to bring a valid government ID with you when traveling to Zamboanga City. If you are an unvaccinated traveler, you will need to bring a valid government ID as well as a negative RT-PCR Test result from any DOH-accredited laboratories valid within one hundred twenty (120) hours or five (5) days prior to departure.
If you are traveling from places with higher Alert Level status than Zamboanga City or places with known variants of concern to be determined by the IATF, you will also need to bring a negative RT-PCR Test result from any DOH-accredited laboratories valid within one hundred twenty (120) hours or five (5) days prior departure, or a negative Rapid Antigen Test result from any DOH-accredited laboratories valid within twenty-four (24) hours prior departure. All traveling passengers are subject to Random Antigen Test (RAT) upon entry into the border.

COVID Zamboanga Travel Requirements per Cebu Pacific Advisory

For guests flying to Zamboanga, please take note of these travel guidelines:
Zamboanga City is placed on Alert Level 1 as of March 1, 2022. Please present the following travel documents upon check-in:
For Tourists: Please email the following requirements to [email protected] and present them upon check-in, including approved status.
- Vaccine Card showing full vaccination status
- Government-issued ID
- Confirmed hotel booking with DOT-accredited establishments
- Roundtrip Tickets
For fully vaccinated guests:
- Valid ID
- Vaccination Card
Guests will be considered fully vaccinated if it has been at least two (2) weeks since the last required dose.
For unvaccinated / partially vaccinated guests:
- Negative RT-PCR (swab / saliva) test result, conducted by DOH-accredited facilities, with the date of the test shown on the result and valid for 120 hours from date of test. Saliva RT-PCR must be conducted by Philippine Red Cross or PADLab only.

- For Unvaccinated/Not Yet Fully Vaccinated Individuals: Negative RT-PCR test result taken from the place of origin within 120 hours (5days) from specimen collection to actual arrival in Zamboanga Airport
- Government-issued ID
*Fully vaccinated travelers coming in from areas with higher Alert Level status than Zamboanga City are required to present Negative RT-PCR test result taken from the place of origin within 120 hours (5days) from specimen collection to actual arrival in Zamboanga Airport OR Negative Rapid Antigen test results from DOH-accredited laboratories taken within 24 hours from specimen collection to actual arrival in Zamboanga Airport
