COVID Tacloban Travel Requirements for Arriving Local Passengers: This is the updated advisory for local or domestic passengers arriving at Tacloban (Daniel Z. Romualdez) Airport (TAC). When traveling to Tacloban, Leyte, it is important for tourists to be aware of the travel requirements in order to make the process as smooth as possible. Valid identification, such as a driver’s license or passport, is required in order to board the plane. Additionally, a vaccination card or certificate is necessary for those who have received all of their vaccinations. However, those who have not received all of their vaccinations are still able to travel as long as they have a valid ID and provide negative RT-PCR Test results from any DOH-accredited laboratory valid within seventy-two (72) hours prior to departure; or Negative Antigen Test result from any DOH-accredited laboratory valid within twenty-four (24) hours prior to departure.

  1. For Fully Vaccinated Individuals: Vaccination Card in lieu of Negative RT-PCR taken within 72 hours or Negative COVID Antigen Test taken within 24 hours before departure
  2. For Unvaccinated/Not Yet Fully Vaccinated Individuals: Negative RT-PCR taken within 72 hours or Negative COVID Antigen Test taken within 24 hours before departure
  3. Government issued ID / Birth Certificate (for 8 yrs old and below)
  4. Traze QR code and Safe City QR Code
  5. Coordinate with the Municipal Health Officer or Respective Barangay Chairman regarding their arrival

Entry of all persons in Kananga shall be allowed but subject to strict compliance with the LGU Health Protocols

  1. Coordinate with the Focal Persons of the Kananga Returning Residents Program (KRRP) within three days before departure to avail of free transportation from the airport of entry
  2. Register and undergo an assessment at the triage designated by the Kananga Municipal Health Office
