Here are the health and Boracay travel requirements for flying via Caticlan Airport (MPH):

Boracay Travel Requirements for Fully Vaccinated Individuals (any of the following)  – Proof of Identification with Philippine Residency/ Passport for foreigners/OFWs/OFs
– A copy of confirmed booking slip/form from a DOT – Accredited Boracay Island accommodation/establishment
– Round Trip flight/travel details (only Caticlan Airport can be used by those traveling via air)

Proof of Vaccination Status:
– VaxCertPH Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate w/ full vaccination status; or
– Locally issued vaccination card/ID w/full vaccination status and verifiable QR code or with contact details of the vaccination center; or
– World Health Organization International Certificates or Vaccination Card/ID/Certificate issued abroad
Boracay Travel Requirements for Unvaccinated/Partially Vaccinated Individuals  – Proof of Identification with Philippine Residency/ Passport for foreigners/OFWs/OFs

All tourists and travelers shall secure a “Quick Response” (QR) Code via the Online Health Declaration Card (OHDC) that can be accessed at https://www.touristboracy.com/ or https://aklan.gov.ph

Returning Aklanons

  • OHDC confirmation
  • Philippine government-issued ID with Aklan address
  • Travel Details
  • For below 12 years old (accomplish the certificate of undertaking travelling w/minors template at https://aklan.gov.ph/ )
  • Proof of Vaccination 

Boracay Travel Requirements for Fully Vaccinated Individuals (any of the following)

  • Notice of Coordination/Acceptance from municipality of destination issued by the Office of the Mayor
  • OHDC confirmation
  • Travel Details (only Kalibo International Airport can be used by those travelling via air)

Tourists

  • Proof of Identification with Philippine Residency/ Passport for foreigners/OFWs/OFs

Based on government regulations, guests bound for Boracay are advised of the following travel guidelines.

Caticlan (Boracay) Airport will accept Returning Residents / Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI), Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR), and Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROF), together with Tourists from areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

Please present the following documents upon check-in, to be accepted for flight**:**

Boracay Travel Requirements for Tourists

  • Please fill up the Online Health Declaration Card (OHDC) at least 24 hours before the flight via https://touristboracay.com and register as “Tourist”. Save a printed/digital copy of the QR code.This is required, even for infants.
  • Proof of full vaccination. Please submit any of the following documents:
    • VaxCertPH Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
    • Locally-issued Vaccination card/ID with verifiable QR code or contact details of the vaccination center
    • World Health Organization International Certificates of Vaccination and Prophylaxis
    • Vaccination Card or Vaccination Certificate issued Abroad
    • Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated tourists may submit a Negative RT-PCR (swab / saliva) test result, conducted within 72 hours before travel. Test must be done by a DOH-accredited testing center.
  • Confirmed hotel booking or reservation from any DOT-accredited accommodation establishments in Boracay
  • Proof of Identity with Philippine residency or passport for foreigners / OFWs
  • Roundtrip Flight / Travel Details

Boracay Travel Requirements for For non-Akalanons: Passenger Classification – “Traveler”.

  • Proof of Identification with Philippine Residency
  • Travel Itinerary / Travel Details
  • Proof of full vaccination. Please submit any of the following documents:
    • VaxCertPH Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
    • Locally-issued Vaccination card/ID with verifiable QR code or contact details of the vaccination center
    • World Health Organization International Certificates of Vaccination and Prophylaxis
    • Vaccination Card or Vaccination Certificate issued Abroad
    • Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated non-Aklanons may submit a Negative RT-PCR (swab / saliva) test result, conducted within 72 hours before travel. Test must be done by a DOH-accredited testing center.

Boracay Travel Requirements for For Returning Aklanons: Passenger Classification – “Returning Aklanon”

  • Philippine government-issued ID with Aklan address or Philippine Passport (for OFW / ROF)
  • Travel Itinerary / Travel Details
  • Proof of full vaccination. Please submit any of the following documents:
    • VaxCertPH Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
    • Locally-issued Vaccination card/ID with verifiable QR code or contact details of the vaccination center
    • World Health Organization International Certificates of Vaccination and Prophylaxis
    • Vaccination Card or Vaccination Certificate issued Abroad
    • Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated Aklanons may submit a Negative RT-PCR (swab / saliva) test result, conducted within 72 hours before travel. Test must be done by a DOH-accredited testing center.

Guests traveling with minors below 12 years old must accomplish the Certificate of Undertaking Traveling with Minors. The template can be downloaded here.

Guests passing through to other areas in Aklan will not be accepted in the Caticlan Airport and must pass through the Kalibo Airport instead.

Upon arrival, guests are required to take Caticlan Airport Authority-accredited transfers to Boracay island.

For Tourists

  • Approved AkQuire OHDC QR Code
  • Booking confirmation from DOT-Accredited Hotel
  • Government Issued Valid ID
  • Roundtrip Flight Tickets
  • Proof of Vaccination Status

A. For Fully Vaccinated individuals – VaxCertPH Covid-19 Vaccination certificate with full vaccination status from https://vaxcert.doh.gov.ph/; OR Locally-issued Vaccination Card/ID with full vaccination status and with verifiable QR Code; OR Locally-issued Vaccination Card/ID with full vaccination status and with certificate of vaccination from issuing-vaccination center

B. Unvaccinated or Partially Vaccinated Individuals –  Negative RT-PCR swab from DOH accredited facility or Saliva test from Philippines Red cross taken 72 hrs. prior to date of Travel.
