Boracay Travel Requirements Update January 5, 2022:

Boracay and Aklan Province now Requires Negative RT-PCR Test for All Visitors

To our valued passengers, beginning January 9, 2022, as required by Aklan local government Executive Order No. 001 Series of 2022:

  • For all travelers heading to Boracay or other areas in Aklan Province, regardless of vaccination status, a negative RT-PCR test result done within 72 hours before departure is now required to be allowed in the island.
  • All travelers who wish to visit Boracay must arrive at Caticlan Airport.
  • Landing at Kalibo Airport will no longer be an option for visitors going to Boracay.

INBOUND PASSENGERS

All tourists and travelers shall secure a “Quick Response” (QR) Code via the Online Health Declaration Card (OHDC) that can be accessed at https://www.touristboracy.com/ or https://aklan.gov.ph

RETURNING AKLANONS

  • Negative RT-PCR Result Certificate taken from any DOH-accredited laboratories within 72 hours to date of travel
  • Notice of Coordination/Acceptance from municipality of destination issued by the Office of the Mayor

  • A copy of confirmed booking slip/form from a DOT – Accredited Boracay Island accommodation/establishment

Based on government regulations, guests bound for Boracay are advised of the following travel guidelines.

Caticlan (Boracay) Airport will accept Returning Residents / Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI), Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR), and Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROF), together with Tourists from areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ).

Please present the following documents upon check-in, to be accepted for flight**:**

For Tourists

  • Negative RT-PCR (swab / saliva) test result, conducted within seventy-two (72) hours before travel. Test must be done by a DOH-accredited testing center.
  • Confirmed hotel booking or reservation from any DOT-accredited accommodation establishments in Boracay
  • Proof of Identity with Philippine residency or passport for foreigners / OFWs
  • Tourist QR Code. Please fill up the Health Declaration form at least twenty-four (24) hours before the flight via https://touristboracay.com and register as “Tourist”. Save a printed/digital copy of the QR code.This is required, even for infants.
  • Roundtrip Flight / Travel Details

All arriving APOR, Returning Residents / LSI, and ROF must present the Aklan Online Health Declaration Card (OHDC) with QR Code upon check-in. Note that the passenger classification for the OHDC must be accurate.

To secure the OHDC, all guests bound for Boracay must email the following documents to aklantraveller@gmail.com and aklantraveller@aklan.gov.ph with subject “OHDC-Last Name, First Name”, at least twelve (12) hours before intended travel to Aklan

For non-Akalanons: Passenger Classification – “Traveler”.

Guests traveling with minors below twelve (12) years old must accomplish the Certificate of Undertaking Traveling with Minors. The template can be downloaded here.

Upon arrival, guests are required to take Caticlan Airport Authority-accredited transfers to Boracay island.
