Travel Requirements Departing from the Philippines Advisory from Philippine Airlines

Philippine Airlines and all its passengers shall strictly observe the following measures in all airport facilities and onboard the aircraft to ensure everyone’s health and safety:
Wearing of Face Masks and Face Shields
- Areas under Alert Level 1, 2, and 3:
- Voluntary wearing of face shields in the airport and during the flight
- Mandated by the Philippine Department of Transportation, effective November 16, 2021
- Areas under Alert Level 4 and LGU’s mandating use of face shields:
- Required wearing of face shields
- Areas under Alert Level 5 and granular lockdowns, and in areas under Enhanced Community Quarantine:
- Mandatory wearing of face shields
Use of the Traze Mobile Application to generate and scan their QR code when entering in, boarding from, and upon arriving in all Philippine Airports
Mandated by the Philippine Department of Transportation starting November 28, 2020.
Registration to PAL’s Passenger Contact Tracing Forms
Note: Passengers are reminded to print their answers or take a screenshot of the “Thank You” response of the PAL Passenger Information Form to be presented upon check-in at the airport.
- PAL Passenger Information Form as early as 24 hours before their flight.
- PAL Laboratory Partner e-CIF as early as 5 days before departure.
For passengers who will take their COVID-19 test with any of PAL’s Partner Laboratories
Enhanced Health and Safety Protocols
- Temperature checks, use of foot baths, and disinfection/sanitation facilities.
- Physical and Social Distancing, and minimum contact at all times within the airport premises and inside PAL shuttle buses. Seat Distancing shall be observed inflight depending on space availability. Family members and individuals travelling together as part of the same household may still choose to be seated together.
- Mandatory public safety announcements before closing of doors and during flight for cabin and health security protocols.
- Strict compliance on safety procedures in handling of (suspected) ill passengers on board, which include keeping the last three (3) rows of the plane vacant as isolation area.
- Regular sanitation and disinfection of airline facilities and equipment, and in coordination with the airport authorities, all airport facilities and equipment, including lavatories, frequently touched surfaces, wheelchairs, trolleys, countertops, etc.

Travel Requirements Departing from the Philippines Advisory from Cebu Pacific
As per Government regulations, outbound travel of Filipinos may be allowed, subject to the following requirements:
- Those traveling with tourist / short-term visas must submit confirmed roundtrip tickets and prepare adequate travel and health insurance to cover travel disruptions and hospitalizations in case of a COVID-19 infection.
- Submission of the Bureau of Immigration Declaration Forms acknowledging risks involved in traveling. Please ask our airline staff to fill out the lower portion of the form before submitting to the Immigration Officer.
- Negative COVID-19 test, if required by the country of destination. For COVID-19 testing requirements, please check out our Testing Partners.

To ensure that flights continue as planned, AirAsia is following the procedures and rules established by the local government and aviation authorities. Guests are advised to follow strict health and safety standards.
In line with NCR being placed in GCQ status with Alert Level 2 until December 31, 2021, interzonal travel will be permitted to and from Manila for persons aged 18 to 65 years old and those not prohibited by IATF standards, subject to LGU restrictions and rules. Individuals below the age of 18, fully vaccinated persons over the age of 65, and pregnant women who have been adequately immunized may travel point-to-point interzonal routes according to DOT guidelines and local LGU rules.
